Half Dome from North Dome, Yosemite National Park
I made this photograph on August 23, 2013. We were backpacking in Yosemite and stayed for 2 nights on North Dome, which is across the valley from Half Dome. From North Dome you can look straight across at the face of Half Dome. It is about 1.5 miles distant.
For this image I used 2 Olympus E-P1 digital cameras mounted 2 tripods about 40 yards apart. The exposures were 1/320 second at f8. The lenses were adjusted to the 35mm camera equivalent of 60mm. You can see the image in the format you prefer by clicking on one of the following: parallel, cross-eyed, or anaglyph (red/cyan glasses).
