Rocca Paolina Exit, Perugia, Italy
I made this photograph on October 14, 2012 while in Italy. Rocca Paolina was a fortress built in Perugia between 1540 and 1543. In 1848 much of the fortress was destroyed and the rest was destroyed in 1860. Only the underground structures remain today.
