Cascade Creek, Yosemite
I made this image in April 2000 while spending the month as an artist-in-residence in Yosemite. Cascade Creek is a small stream which is just outside of Yosemite Valley. As Highway 120 nears the intersection with Highway 140 there is a bridge which goes over Cascade Creek. One can park there and walk down a hill to the creek. The cameras were a pair of 4x5 film cameras that I made out of wood. The lenses were 120mm which is somewhat wide-angle for a 4x5 camera. The camera separation was about 6 inches. I don't remember what the shutter speed was but I'm sure it was at least 10 seconds.
