Half Dome from Glacier Point, Yosemite
I have made this stereo image several times but this is the best because of the clouds. It was in November 22, 2010. I was using 2 medium format Bronica SQ-A cameras with 150mm lenses (that's about twice the normal focal length). The longer the focal length of the lenses the less wide the space between the cameras. In this case they were about 50 feet apart. I had a friend at the other camera so we could shoot them both at exactly the same time. We made at least a dozen shots. Many of them were good but this was the best. The beauty of hyper-stereo is that you can see depth in far away scenes that your eyes could never see any depth in if you are just standing there.
